Ways To Help

Fundraising is fun, but it is not always easy! Guilds confront many challenges when planning fundraising events, yet none compare to what Children's patients endure. Kids don't give up and neither will we. We invite you to help us!

Your gift will help make a brighter future filled with hope. Circle of Hope is a 501(c)(3) charity and your donation will be tax deductible.

Integrating Philanthropy with Business

All children deserve the same world-class treatment regardless of their families' ability to pay. Seattle Children's Hospital is able to provide this by funding medical care that is not covered by insurance or Medicaid. Raising funds to support uncompensated care is at the heart of both the Children's Hospital Guild Association and the Circle of Hope's philanthropic efforts.

In January 2010, a group of professionals and friends formed the Circle of Hope, a guild of Seattle Children's. Our members include both men and women with diverse personal and professional backgrounds – ranging from the CEO of Greenfoot Technologies, to several Microsoft and McKinstry Co. employees, as well as stay-at-home moms. Dash Dodd, a former patient of Children's, is also a member of our guild. Dash was treated there from the age of 8 through 20 years old, and his personal story is shared on our website. The Circle of Hope has given him the opportunity to show his appreciation to Children's for his life.

Circle of Hope will provide financial support through philanthropy and volunteer commitment for Seattle Children's Hospital to ensure all children are cared for regardless of their families' ability to pay.

Giving back is good business! As the CEO of Cisco (a worldwide leader in networking) once said, "Strong corporate citizenship isn't just charity – it is also a critical element of a company's brand and reputation." The Circle of Hope is encouraging businesses to invest in your community by donating a portion of your business proceeds to our guild for uncompensated care.

You may participate in one of the following campaigns or contact us to suggest your own! 100% of the donated proceeds will benefit uncompensated care at Seattle Children's Hospital. Businesses can select the terms of our arrangement and the Circle of Hope will promote your goods or services on our Facebook page and our website. For example:

Dine to Donate - Restaurants can select a day once a month where a percentage of their proceeds during happy hour or specialized "Circle of Hope" menu will be donated to the Circle ofHope

Pamper to Donate - Spas can incorporate a "Circle of Hope Facial", where a percentage of this particular service would be donated to the Circle of Hope

Accessorize to Donate - Jewelers can design or select a piece of jewelry or week each month where a percentage of purchases from their website or store would be donated to the Circle of Hope

After all, the spirit of giving is contagious!
