About Us

Our Mission

In January 2010 a group of professionals and friends formed a Seattle Children's Hospital Guild, Circle of Hope, a 501c3 benefiting the uncompensated care program. Our guild includes men and women with broad professions and diverse backgrounds – from Project Managers to business owners and stay-at-home moms. A former patient, still grateful to Children's for his life, is another member of our guild now giving back. His story is posted to our Hope in Action page.

Circle of Hope will provide financial support through philanthropy and volunteer commitment for Seattle Children's Hospital to ensure all children are cared for regardless of their families' ability to pay. Every bit of money we make benefits someone. We believe with your help…..Hope is endless within our circle.

What is the Seattle Children's Hospital Uncompensated Care Program?
A catastrophic or lifelong illness can wipe out a families insurance limit and devastate their financial resources, while crippling the family emotionally. The Program allows families without means to pay for healthcare to provide for their child's well being while receiving the best medical care possible.

We are encouraged by the support of our friends, families and community and are we are inspired by the patients of Seattle Children's who don't give up their fight for health.

Uncompensated Care at Seattle Children's Hospital
In 2010, Seattle Children's provided $102 million in uncompensated care to patient families in need. In fiscal year 2010 guilds combined raised 10.7 million.

The Circle of Hope Guild ended FY 2011 as the 29th highest fundraising guild for Seattle Children's Hospital raising nearly $70,000 for uncompensated care.
